We have worked with teachers, principals and educational organisations for the past 10 years and we understand not only school's needs, but also schools' budget, priorities and what works for schools.

Scoil is a project of Digilogue, a small team of educators/web developers led by Seaghan Moriarty, who has worked with many Education Centres, INTO, IPPN, Tobar.ie and other clients over the past ten years in the web business. Digilogue has worked with INTO/NCTE and NCTE tutors designing ICT courses, and his main ambition is to make a website that is:

1. Simple to update by Principal, teacher(s), secretary, or pupils
2. Answers the needs of the school (i.e. has calendar, photo gallery,parents newsletter, class pages, etc. all built-in)
3. Cheap - based on Open Source software which is free to download, you pay only for the setting-up
